Max sat happily on his special seat on Daddy's bicycle as they left nursery. The wind tickled his red hair as they zoomed down the street. Daddy had forgotten Max's helmet today, but they were only going a short way. They stopped at the bakery to get some fresh bread for dinner.

While Daddy was inside the bakery, something made the bicycle wobble and fall over. Max bumped his head and felt very dizzy. The nice bakery lady saw what happened and called for help. Daddy rushed outside and gently picked Max up, giving him the biggest, safest hug.

Soon, special helpers in an ambulance came to take Max to the children's hospital. The doctors were very kind and put a special bandage on Max's sore head. Daddy stayed right beside Max the whole time, holding his hand. Max was brave even though he felt scared and tired.

The doctors helped Max feel better with medicine and rest. Daddy promised to always remember Max's helmet from now on. Max got a special sticker for being so brave at the hospital. Soon, they would go home together, and Max would have a story to tell his friends at nursery.
